MTV Video Music Awards
A year after 9/11, MTV commissioned Jonathan Rubin to photograph New York City. Jonathan’s images were edited to Sheryl Crow’s song "Safe and Sound". The video was presented at Radio City Music Hall during the Video Music Awards while Sheryl Crow sang live.

       Jonathan is invited to WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Professionals International) to present a Master Class on Studio Nine's innovative DVD Slideshow concept. WPPI is the most prestigious photography tradeshow.
