We are large enough to expertly deliver 30–50 events each year, yet boutique in size so every couple receives the personal attention they deserve.

Being photographed by Michael is such an experience, I wish all couples could have him as a part of their wedding day. Regrettably he can only be at one event at one time!
Since his first shoot with us in 2019, Michael has consistently wowed one couple after another with his unique blend of humor, thoughtfulness, engaging energy, and dedication to creating and capturing beautiful moments. He is an expert in posing and communication with our couples, working beyond just the technical craft of creating a beautiful image but truly assuring that the beautiful person you are comes through his lens.
He is a man who has worn many hats, from stage acting to tending in Brooklyn’s hippest bars. He even still finds the time in the off-season to play parts at the local theater in Maryland where he lives with his wife.
Ryan is a multiple award winning photographer that has been shooting with Studio Nine since 2015. He has a B.A. in English Literature from Penn State University, and recently lived and traveled throughout Southeast Asia. His experience as a travel photographer through 25 different countries has prepared him to tell the story of your day with his carefully thought-out and emotional imagery. Ryan is an amazing wedding photographer with the approach of a photo journalist, seeking out the quiet and intimate moment between the moment that encapsulates his couples’ story and family.
Living and working in Philadelphia, Ryan enjoys spending his free time either dining out with his wife and friends, or at home working on bespoke DIY projects and rehabbing his historical row home.
Hailing originally from Lviv, Ukraine, Marta Velisarov now makes her home in New Jersey. While she began shooting for Studio Nine in 2021, she has always chased the thrill of photographing beauty – both for candid moments on the streets of Europe and in the studio with high-fashion models. This duality of Marta makes her uniquely fit to provide a worldly, delicately balanced, and creative approach to photographing events like ours.
Despite making wedding photography her career, she still pursues creative side-projects like photographing fashion models and graphic design. When she is not busy with all that, she shares a cozy life with her fiance and their furry, four-legged son Brovko. If a day involves a delicious meal, good music, a thrilling escapade, or just a great chat over coffee – count her in!
