A Indian Wedding Weekend to Remember at Bridgewater Marriott

March 28, 2025

Some weddings stay with you. Not just because of the stunning outfits, heartfelt moments, or the carefully planned décor, but because of the people—how they laugh, how they cry, and how they love.

This one, held at the Bridgewater Marriott and flawlessly orchestrated by KM Events Management, was one of those weddings.

The Sangeet

From the start, the energy was electric. The sangeet night was a riot of color—gold, fuchsia, tangerine, and deep purple draped the backdrop like a painter’s wildest dream. There was a swing nestled in a canopy of florals, framed by carved white peacocks and lush greenery. I mean, how do you even begin to do that justice in a photo? We love to let the colors speak for themselves.

The couple made their entrance, hand in hand, in embroidered ensembles that could’ve come straight from a fashion editorial. But what struck me most was how they looked at each other. That kind of look is what every photographer hopes for—it makes everything around them fall away.

The Wedding Day

The morning of the wedding was a complete shift in tone: calm, intimate, full of anticipation. One of my favorite shots from the day isn’t even of the ceremony. It’s the bride by the window, eyes closed, while her mother helps with her earrings. There was this gentle rhythm between them, this shared memory in the making.

The ceremony itself was nothing short of regal. The mandap, dressed in soft whites and golds, surrounded by blush and burgundy florals, was the perfect contrast to the bride’s radiant red and ivory lehenga. The groom, in ivory with a pearl safa, looked every bit the classic prince. Their joy as they walked back down the aisle—petals falling, friends cheering, hands clasped tightly—was one of those moments that almost made us forget we had a job to do.

The Reception

And then there was the reception. They arrived in a white Rolls Royce (because of course they did), and the bride’s golden lehenga shimmered under the evening light like it had its own spotlight. The vibe was modern elegance, with a hint of old-world glamour—muted pink drapes, gold accents, white florals, and just the right amount of candlelight to make everything feel cinematic.

Now, we’ve taken our fair share of dance floor photos over the years. But this crowd? They brought it. There’s one shot where the groom’s groomsmen are hoisting him up mid-dance, and I swear you can hear the music just by looking at the photo.

We’ll forever be grateful to this couple for inviting Studio Nine in to witness it all. And to KM Events Management and the team at the Bridgewater Marriott—your attention to detail and seamless coordination made everything not just photogenic, but meaningful.

If this wedding is any indication, love isn’t just in the big moments. It’s in the stolen glances, the whispered jokes, the hands held tightly through it all. I’m just here to make sure those things are never forgotten.
